Emily has been most recently seen in various productions at Brookhaven Community College and last year appeared in two shows at MBS Productions including the world premiere of Outrageous, Sexy (Nekkid) Romp! Other Favorite Dallas roles include Juliet (Romeo and Juliet) and Puck (A Midsummer Night's Dream) at the Shakespeare Festival of Dallas. Quinn has been involved with the world of acting ever since he started taking classes at 12 years old. In his time, he has acted in over 20 plays and musicals and has loved every second of it! Currently, he is taking classes at Collin College and enjoys the time spent gaining acting experience as well as expanding his own knowledge. Quinn looks forward to the opportunity as well as the challenge of working on a new production with such a wonderful cast. He would like to thank Richard Blake, Barbara McMillen, and Laurie Windham for putting so much effort in making Give Me A Break an interesting and wonderful piece of theatre as well as giving him the chance to be Billy Watts of Pulsar5. Stuart is very excited to be cast as the original Sal Lepiggio in this new, groundbreaking rock musical, "Give Me A Break"! He has performed in numerous productions including, Chicago (Billy Flynn), The Producers (Max Bialystock), 13:The Musical (Brett Sampson), The Wedding Singer, (Robbie Hart), The Princess Bride (Westley),Much Ado About Nothing (Don Juan), Peter Pan (Captain Hook), and Clue (Mr. Boddy), just to name a few. Stuart can also be seen at live events around North Texas appearing as the Chick-Fil-a Cow; most recently being seen on TV helping Toys for Tots. He would like to thank the artistic team of Laurie Windham and Barbara McMillen for the years of work to make this production a success and to Richard for directing all of us to ours. He would like to thank this very talented cast and also his friends and family for always being there for him and for supporting his dream of being in theatre.
Steve is pumped to join the exceptionally talented cast, crew and creators of "Give Me a Break." Previous credits include Reefer Madness (Jesus), Zombie Prom (Joey), Blithe Spirit (Charles Condomine), Beauty and the Beast (Lumiere), among others. He has performed with numerous music ensembles in the Katy and Brenham areas. Steve currently attends The University of North Texas where he is studying Theatre and Foreign Studies. When not on stage he can be found scrounging for quarters in between couch cushions. Thank you Laurie Windham for all of the last minute rehearsals. Mark-Brian Sonna is the Artistic Director of MBS Productions. He began working in Theatre professionally at the age of 15 and has written, directed, choreographed or performed in over 100 productions. He is most known for playing the role of Dickey in "The Beulaville Baptist Book Club Presents: A Bur-Less-Q Nutcracker!" which received the National "Nutty" award for being one of the most loved Nutcrackers in the country. He played the role of Johnny Johnson during the three year run of "Le Cabaret Burlesque" with The Velvet Kittens." His hit play "The Soul Gatherer" is currently in production and being turned into a feature film.
After an adolescence shot through with complacency and conformity, the twin pillars of a boring life, Ian decided to blow it all to hell and started pretending to be other people as a sophomore in college. He didn't even know "transvestite drug dealer" was on the table, but is excited to scoop this opportunity up and be a part of something brand new. He has been seen on stages in Dallas and the surrounding region, most recently as Ensemble/Tenor Trio/Quintet in Level Ground Art's "Sweeney Todd" and as the Professor in Rover Dramawerk's "Gilligan's Island: The Musical".
Tyler is a graduate of TCU and UNT where he earned a master's degree in journalism. He has performed with Amphibian Stage Productions, Artes de la Rosa, Artisan Center, CATS, DVA Productions, Fort Worth Theatre, Hip Pocket, Kids Who Care, Onstage in Bedford, Pantagleize, Runway, Stolen Shakespeare Guild and Theatre Arlington.
